This policy explains what pierresubeh.com collects, why, and what control you have. It covers this website only. It is written to be read, not to be impenetrable, and I have tried to keep it specific rather than defensive.

Who is responsible

This site is operated by Pierre Subeh (Orlando, Florida, United States). For any privacy question or request, use the contact page. I am the data controller for information collected here.

What this site collects

Information you choose to give

If you send an inquiry through the contact page or subscribe to updates, you provide your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message. That information is used to reply to you and, if you subscribed, to send the updates you asked for. It is not sold, rented, or traded.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, this one and the services that deliver it record standard technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you visit, and timestamps. This is used to keep the site running, diagnose problems, and understand which content is worth writing more of.

What the free tools collect: nothing

The calculators, generators, and checkers under /tools and /calculators run entirely in your browser. Text you paste, numbers you enter, and results produced are never transmitted to a server, never logged, and never stored. If you close the tab, it is gone.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This site uses them in three broad categories:

• Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function, including remembering your light or dark theme preference and your cookie consent choice. These cannot be switched off.
• Analytics. Used to count visits and understand which pages people read. Set only if you consent.
• Advertising. Used by advertising partners to serve and measure ads. Set only if you consent.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie policy page, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.

Advertising

This site may display advertising served by third parties, including Google. The following applies to that advertising:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or the NAI opt-out.
• Opting out of personalised advertising does not remove ads. It makes them less relevant.

Analytics

Analytics, where enabled, is used only in aggregate to understand traffic patterns. It is never used to build a profile of an identified individual or to make decisions about a specific person.

Legal bases for processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the legal bases are: consent for analytics and advertising cookies and for marketing email; legitimate interest for keeping the site secure, functional, and free of abuse; and performance of a contract or steps prior to one when you contact me about working together.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data held about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Under the CCPA and CPRA, California residents additionally have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. This site does not sell personal information and does not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioural advertising outside the advertising cookies described above, which are consent-gated.

To exercise any right, use the contact page. I will respond within the period required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Data retention

Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and to maintain a normal business record. Subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe. Aggregate analytics data is retained according to the provider's standard retention period.

International transfers

This site is hosted in the United States and served through a global content delivery network. If you access it from outside the United States, your data is processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from your own. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses offered by the relevant service providers.

Children

This site is aimed at marketing and business professionals and is not directed to children under 16. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact me and I will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. No transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, and I do not claim otherwise, but the site is deliberately built to collect as little as possible so there is very little to expose.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change and the revised policy will be posted here. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
